Concept
Household dustpans often suffer from poor performance and cheap materials. The goal of this project was to create a functional dustpan with an emphasis on function and longevity.
Development
Polypropylene as a dustpan material is less than ideal. Building the pan out of a powder coated aluminum would eliminate the issue of static cling and make a durable product.
Product
The final iteration is a sturdy household item whose simplicity and functionality speak for itself.
